Does your dog pull, lunge, or get easily distracted? Mastering loose leash walking is one of the most challenging but rewarding skills you can teach your dog.

Join Jake Daley (Daley Dog Essentials) and trainer Alyssa Singh (@pawsnheels) for our group leash training workshop. This hands-on class will teach you the foundational skills of loose leash walking—from using markers to building towards a perfect Heel command. You'll learn how to keep your dog engaged and focused on you, turning stressful walks into calm, enjoyable outings. We'll also provide one-on-one troubleshooting to help with your dog's specific challenges.

This workshop is a fantastic opportunity to get personalized training in a fun group setting. Work with experienced trainers, build a stronger bond with your dog, and connect with other owners who share the same goals.

The full value of this workshop, including expert instruction and personalized feedback, is $35.

• Community Rate: $20 (Minimum Deposit)
  This option is for those who need a reduced rate to attend. We trust you to pay what is a sustainable price for you.

• Standard Rate: $35
  This contribution covers the full cost of your attendance and helps us continue to offer high-quality workshops.

• Supporting Rate: $50
  Your generous contribution at this level allows us to cover a free spot for a dog owner who otherwise wouldn't be able to attend.

What to Bring

• Your dog

• A 4 or 6-foot leash

• Whatever equipment you use to walk your dog (e.g., martingale, prong, or slip collar)

• High-value treats your dog loves (like cut-up hot dogs)

• A favorite small tug toy (if your dog is play-motivated)

• A mat, towel, or dog bed for your dog to rest on

• Water and a bowl for your dog

• A great attitude!

Restrictions
To ensure a safe and positive training environment for everyone:

• No unvaccinated dogs.

• No dog greetings on leash.

• No severe reactivity or aggressive behavior. Minor outbursts can be managed, but if your dog is unable to get below threshold, you will be asked to create space or remove them from the training area. We can then schedule a private session to address these issues.

Free Discovery Call

Our free Discovery Call is the first step in ensuring that we understand your dog’s temperament and specific needs. This session allows us to determine whether your dog is a good fit for activities such as pack walks, play groups, or other training options. It’s the best way to determine which services will benefit your dog the most and help them succeed.

A great starting point for new dog owners, this package focuses on basic obedience and foundational skills to help establish a harmonious and well-mannered relationship with your dog.

Ideal for dogs with some behavioral challenges, this package focuses on refining obedience and addressing issues like leash pulling, jumping, or excessive barking, using positive reinforcement and structured techniques.

Designed for dogs with advanced behavior issues, this comprehensive package provides in-depth training and behavior modification to tackle complex challenges such as aggression, anxiety, or reactivity.
